Have you ever noticed how, when one area of your life is not quite how you want it, other areas of your life seem to compensate for that supposedly lack?
This is the Law of the Conservation of Energy in action. More simply put, it's the Principle of the Balance of Abundance.
See, in an abundant Universe, which you are most definitely part of, there is no lack. Now, quite often that's not how you see things. You may take a snapshot of your life at exactly this minute, then go on to pass judgment on it as not living up to your standards, desires or expectations. We've all done it at some point in time. When's the last time you've done that?
The truth is though, when we take such a snapshot, we're focusing too narrowly. We're forgetting that our life is comprized of many different aspects – health, wealth, love, family, friends, passions, lessons and more – all creating a unified balance.
Would not it be nice to remember this Principle of the Balance of Abundance more often than not? Well, the following examples might help.
1. Balance in Relationships
Everyone has had a bad breakup at some point in time, whether with a lover, friend or family member. During such strong emotional times, it's very easy to think that Love is lacking. However, when you look closer, any number of balancing acts happen? Perhaps you lean on your friends or family members more than you usually do. Or you "lean" into working more. You might even be someone who cherishes your new found freedom and goes out to have fun more.
2. Balance in Nature
I first observed this principle after a severe ice storm in my home town. The entire city was shutdown for a week. Everything stopped. Grocery lost goods. Property was damaged. It was major. However, we all had loads of free time, which was very fun. Then, a month later, while I was out delivering flowers, I was stunned at the incredible vibrancy of colors and richness of fragrances from the flowers and trees, all of which were seriously damaged in the ice.
3. Balance in Finances
Finances are a tricky one, because so often our self-esteem, meaning and sense of freedom come from our financial lives. But what happens when you loose a job or are low on money? What areas of life are given a boost? Frugality, surrender, new ways to have fun, and determination to succeed all gain a leg up, so to speak, when your finances are down. Not to mention generosity and kindness of friends and strangers.
What's happening in every one of these examples is that the energy you had vested in the area which ended is automatically spread out into these other areas of life. Sometimes obviously. Other times, unexpectedly and in a rather hidden manner.
The point of this is that your perception of lack is merely that – a perception. When you take time to clear you mind and connect with you heart-connection to the balance of the Abundance of life, you see that this perception – while valid – easily evaporates and things do not look so "bad".
